final puppet a day

welp. there you have it. we made it, dr wade.
this last one is a subtle salute to one of the formal changes that this sockpuppetaday saw - the surprising appearance of the use of googly eyes. you know, i used to shun the googly eyes. but now they are simply another possibility. i thought about taking my superyogafriend marisa's suggestion and making an anatomically correct female for the final one, but this guy just emerged.

this has been the funnest. thanks so much to andy wade for doing it with me. and thanks to anyone who has followed along. though we certainly saw some garish and crazy ones, i seem to be leaning towards simplicity with this lot.

i hope we do it agin.

keep up with stuff that i do at
martystuff.com
especially the rock music of
uncle monsterface

yay 4-eva.

redbear

this is redbear.
what is funny, at least for me, is as i get really close to the end, it starts to feel easy. like this crazy zen process. it sounds like cheese, but it's like the puppets already know who they are, and they just tell me where to put things. but this is far far into the process. which sort of makes me wonder what would happen if i/we pushed it beyond 30. i mean, i'm not gonna. not this time, anyways. but i wonder how dr wade feels? because i remember this feeling from songaday. the question is, does it come about just because the end is in sight? or do you hit a natural rhythm? in all likelihood, it is some combination thereof. it reminds me of the end of a run (that's right - i run! shut up about it!). where i push way harder than ever and it seems easy only in the end...at the least, i got to see the redsox kick ass tonight. in real life at the game! wicked awesome. amazing seats. yeeeoooo...

one more to go.

this has been great.

big big big love,
